7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. A&E Society Reception (with open bar and hors d'oeuvres).  Featuring delectables from Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, 8407 Kitchen Bar, Jaleo Restaurant, Hollywood East, Whole Foods, Zpizza, and more!  Wine from Barefoot Wines & Bubbly.  Beer from Pabst.  
NOTE: The A&E Society Reception is a ticketed event (see link to BrownPaperTickets below.) 
All persons attending the reception must be 21 years or older and will be asked to present proper ID at the registration desk.

FIESTA is an annual celebration of the arts in our community produced by Class Acts Arts. 
The event includes entertainment, exhibitions, food and drink, a silent auction, and more!  
Catherine Leggett, first Lady of Montgomery County, and Susan Nordeen are co-hosting the event.
TICKETS: $45 in advance and $55 at the door (see FREE events above)
Advance ticket sales will end Tuesday, October 22nd at midnight.

CALL FOR ARTISTS!
Monday, Oct 28, 5pm – deadline to apply to be part of Takoma’s Holiday Art Sale on Saturday, December 14 (10am-4pm) at Takoma Park Community Center, 7500 Maple Avenue, Takoma Park MD 20912
This is a juried sale. The artist may sell only original, hand-made work. Members of the Takoma Park arts community will review applications with selections based on the quality and uniqueness of the work. Past sales have featured a variety of media including, but not limited to painting, photography, pottery, jewelry, textiles, and glass. The number of participants for each media will be limited to maintain a diversity of offerings. Jury selections will be made biweekly, after the Call for Artists is released.  Applicant notification will follow.  Apply early, as slots may be filled before the application deadline.
NOTE: There is no cost to participate in the sale.
Each artist will be provided with one 6’ table and one chair. There is free wireless internet service available within the sale area.

Help save the area's last, best creek -- and have fun with family, friends & community members
A family-¬friendly, private community dance to support the work the Save Ten Mile Creek Coalition 
The Save Ten Mile Creek coalition is comprised of 16 civic groups representing more than 10,000 Montgomery County residents. Our goal is to protect Ten Mile Creek in Clarksburg, our county’s last, best creek. In so doing, we will help protect the Washington area’s emergency drinking water supply.
Snacks, beverages and music will be provided.
Because we are so close to Halloween, costumes are optional and encouraged. Come as you aren't!
SUGGESTED DONATION:  $20 for adults, $5 for children  
All proceeds go to the Coalition
